After leaked renders of the Oppo A7 surfaced last week, the device has leaked once again in promotional images, and the report also outs the probable launch date and full specifications of the phone. The Oppo A7 will be the cheaper variant of the Oppo A7x, and the smartphone is now reportedly expected to launch on November 22. The promo images reveal that the Oppo A7 looks similar to the Realme 2, and may just be the rebranded version for the Chinese market.
Mr. Gizmo reports that the Oppo A7 will launch in China on November 22, and the price of the smartphone will be at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 16,500). The publication also got its hand on a few promotional images, and it shows the Oppo A7 sporting a waterdrop-shaped notch, a dual camera setup stacked horizontally, and a rear fingerprint sensor. It is seen sporting three gradient finishes – Gold, Green, and Rose Gold.
The report states that the Oppo A7 will run on ColorOS 5.2 based on Android Oreo out-of-the-box. The smartphone is expected to sport a 6.2-inch (720×1520 pixels) FullView Display with 2.5D curved glass with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by the 1.8GHz Snapdragon 450 SoC with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM. Internal storage is at 64GB, further expandable via a microSD card slot (up to 256GB).
Optics include a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a secondary 2-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie sensor tipped as well. The Oppo A7 packs a 4,230mAh battery, and connectivity options reportedly include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS with A-GPS, and GLONASS.
