In response to the mega sales event that is Amazon Prime Day, retailers are fighting it out to offer deals on a range of popular tech products and we’ve spied some hugely competitive offers on GoPro action cameras.
The GoPro Hero (2018) is currently on offer for £169 at Amazon and Argos, a discount of £30.99 on the RRP, but the hottest deal is available at Halfords. Thanks to a site-wide promo, you can get an additional 10% off anyting you put in your basket until midnight Tuesday 17 July, which brings the price of this action cam down to £152.10.

As part of the Amazon Prime Day promo, you can save £42 on the GoPro Hero5 action camera but savvy shoppers should head on over to eBay to get an even better deal. We wrote about eBay’s multi-seller sale yesterday, which sneakily launched just before the Amazon main event. With the discount code PLAY20 you can save 20% when you buy products from 20 retailers via eBay which means you can grab the GoPro Hero5 at AO.com for just £239, a saving of £61. And while the Amazon Prime Day discounts expire at midnight Tuesday 17 July, you have until midnight on Thursday 19 July to take advantage of the eBay savings.

You can also save money on GoPro accessories on eBay’s AO retailer page: the GoPro hand and wrist strap was recently discounted to £39 from £49 and you can now save an additional 20%, bringing the price down to £31.20.
The GoPro Hero6 is currently on sale at Halfords for £399 but with the 10% promo we mentioned above you can save £39.90. The discounts are automatically applied at the checkout.
And last but not least, Argos has thrown a couple of deals into the ring. You can nab the GoPro Hero Full HD 1080p action camera for £169, a saving of £30 on the regular price of £199 and stock up on a GoPro MKII hand grip for £20, a third of the normal price.
