We know the OnePlus 3 launch is imminent, the Chinese firm is teasing its new flagship smartphone heavily, but now we may have the exact date OnePlus will launch us into space (virtually, mind) to check out its latest offering.
According to one keen OnePlus fan who has been chatting to a company representative, the magic date is June 14.
That makes sense, as the VR headsets it’s giving away for free (you do have to splash out a few bucks on shipping) will only start leaving the warehouse on June 6 – which gives them around a week to arrive with customers before they’ll need to strap them on.
Power up
Previous rumors suggest the OnePlus 3 will sport a 5.5-inch 1080 x 1920 display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB/6GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB of internal storage, 16MP rear camera, NFC and a 3500mAh battery pack.
It’s worth noting that the screenshot of the conversation has not been verified, and there’s no guarantee the representative (if legit) has their information correct. OnePlus is yet to officially reveal when its VR launch will take place, but we’d be surprised if it wasn’t close to this date.
