    Microsoft Office is also free on iPad if you only want to do basic editing. Like with Google Docs/Sheets/Slides.

    OpenOffice is only available for Windows, OS X and Linux. So won't run on iPad, making your comment an odd one.

    If you need fully compatibility with your work applications, most people need Microsoft Office. Whether you like that or not it remains a fact.

    Office 365 is available for Windows, OS X, IOS and Android.

    Not sure i'd want to pay £60 a year when Google and OpenOffice can do this for free. Probably not available for ipad though, but then again, I don't want one
